Quick Overview

In this session students will become acquainted with the basic functions of their serger. We'll identify the various parts, thread by tie-on and from scratch. Sew the basic 3, 4 and 5 thread (if applicable) stitches and explain basic tension balance. Students will also learn basic machine maintenance.

Students are to bring their machine and all accessories for the machine. Students will also need 4 (5 if applicable) spools of different colored serger thread and scissors (can be purchased on our website or at any of our locations before class).
