Wall Banner of the Month:
Each month we will be making a seasonal wall banner. There are several way to do appliqué so we will be doing an assortment of techniques through out the year.

| Introduction to Paper Piecing: This class will teach the basics of paper piece quilting. This simple technique involves sewing scraps of fabric to a paper foundation. It is great for creating perfect points and using scraps (cotton or any other fabric). Patterns for an Asian inspired block will be provided. | Introduction to Reverse Stained Glass Applique: Create beautiful stained glass effect quilt blocks. This technique uses freezer paper, glue stick, and lots of scraps to create beautiful blocks. You will create an “art deco” style rosebud block. This is a great way to use up fancy scraps like satin or velvet. (Freezer paper pattern will be provided.)
