Shipping Questions
Q: Wondering when your order will arrive?
A:
To determine when an item will arrive, add the item's processing time to the transit time for the shipping method you're planning to use. Items in stock will ship within 2 business days. Transit times will very based on the delivery service chosen. For example, an item that's in stock and ships in 2 business days using standard shipping (4-14 business days), will arrive in 6-16 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday. Put simply, here's the basic equation you can use to determine your delivery date:

(1-2 Business Days processing time) + (Shipping Time) = Total Delivery Time

You will receive an e-mail confirming your order. Net shipping time from order placed to recipient: 2-16 days (1-2 days for fulfillment time plus 1-14 shipping days). Expedited services are available. 

Q: How much is shipping?
A:
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and their prices. Shipping is based on the weight and package size. If you would like to have or order shipped using a quicker method, you will need to enter in your shipping information to get accurate rates. Some larger items require freight shipping and will be noted in the actual item page.

Q: How long will it take my order to arrive?
A:
Please allow 1-2 business days for in stock orders to be shipped. Please allow up to 2 weeks for special orders to be shipped. You will receive an email when we receive your order, and another when your order ships. All items ship from Southern California (unless otherwise noted), via FedEx or USPS and takes 1-14 shipping days to arrive depending on your location. If an item is out of stock or needs to be shipped directly from the manufacturer, please view the actual product for an estimated delivery time.

Q. What if I need my order to arrive faster than your basic ship and delivery time?
A:
For a fee, you can have your purchase shipped using a quicker method. To see express shipping charges in advance of placing an order, place the desired items into your shopping cart by clicking on the Add to Cart buttons. Then click on the view cart in the upper right hand corner (located below 'Shopping Cart'). This will bring up a page that will show you all the items in your cart. Enter your zip code in the box labeled 'Postal Code'. You can try different shipping methods by clicking on the down arrow located next to 'Shipping'. Select a shipping method (e.g. USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Next Day Air, etc...). This will show you shipping charges before placing your order or entering any personal information.

Do you ship to my country?
A:
At this time Moore's only ships within the USA.

Q: Has my order shipped?
A:
Click the "Customer Service" link at the bottom our site to check your orders status.

Q: I just purchased an item on your website, but want to pick it up from my closest Moore's location? Can I do that and is it in stock?
A: Moore's is happy to accommodate customer pickups as long as your package has not shipped. Please call the Moore's customer service line toll free at 1-800-865-9664 or contact our Customer Service team. Please be sure to provide your order number and the location you prefer to pick-up from.

Q: Can my order be gift wrapped?
A:
  Yes, some products can be gift wrapped for an additional fee. Please see the specific item for details.

Pricing and Billing Questions
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to order. If you would like to pay by cashier's check, money order, company or personal check, please use the checkout system to get our contact and mailing information. Orders paid for by cashier's check or money order will be filled as soon as your payment is received. Please allow 7-10 business days after we receive your company or personal check for your order to be filled, as your order will not be shipped until your check clears. There is a $25.00 fee on all dishonored checks.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A:
You only have to pay a 8.750% sales tax if you are a resident of California.

Q: When will my credit card be charged?
A:
Your credit card will be charged instantly once you click "Confirm Order" on the last page during checkout. Your bank and or credit card statement will state the charges came from Moore's Sewing.

Q: What are your Return Policies?
A: We'll gladly exchange any product for another product in stock of equal value within 30 days, provided the product is returned in the same condition as purchased. Sorry, no refunds.

Q: How do I navigate the site?
A: To navigate this website, simply click on a category you might be interested in. Categories are located on the top, left & bottom of our website. Quick Tip: Place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You'll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a "hand". Whereas scrolling over anything that is NOT a link will leave your cursor as an "arrow". You may also type a keyword into the SEARCH box to quickly find a specific product. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact

Q: How do I use a coupon or promotion code?

After adding items to your cart, click the "Shopping Cart" link at the top of this site to view your cart. Click on "Check Out" once your order is confirmed. Select your Check Out preference and click "Continue Checkout". At the bottom of the shopping cart you'll see a box where you may enter your coupon and/or promotion code.
