Meet Lee Fletcher at Moore's of Riverside
Lee began sewing quite naturally. Her mother was a dressmaker and embroidery artist long before computerized home embroidery. At a very young age, Lee helped with her mother’s business.
She majored in textiles, sewing and patternmaking in college and created costumes for stage and the ballet.
Lee self-published her first pattern in 1982 under the Happy Baggs brand. One of her designs was published by Butterick Patterns.
She and her partner founded Fletcher Ross and the Pat-e-Patterns brand in 2001.
Sulky of America hired Lee in 2007 as a Freelance National Educator to teach embellishment classes. Her designs have been published in a Sulky book and used in Teacher Certification classes for Sulky.
