Meet Mary Yoder at Moore's of Orange
Mary has always had a love of sewing. She started teaching at Moore’s because she felt it would be fun teaching others how to sew. She started making her own clothes in High School and is self-taught at making patterns. This has helped her in all aspects of sewing garments along with other projects.
She purchased a sewing machine which embroidered in 1996 and once she started playing with it, her outlook on the sewing world changed. She started to sew things for fun and enjoyed embroidering on all sorts of things. She learned how to use digitizing software and really enjoyed that -- and thus began the journey of teaching customers to learn how to digitize.
For years, Mary wanted to take a licensing course from Martha Pullen, so in April of ’08 she went to Alabama to get her Martha Pullen licensing on the Babylock machines.
Mary is the main teacher at the Orange store and teaches all of the clubs there. Come join her for clubs or classes, we’re sure you’ll learn a bunch!
