The blocks are joined in the hoop to form columns, and then the columns are sewn together to complete the project. The columns of circular pieces (blocks) can be as long as you wish to create a wall hanging, table runner, topper, pillow (as shown), or even an entire quilt! Add embellishments if you wish to the intersections, and you have created a new masterpiece.

Each is stitched on dissolvable stabilizer with batting or fleece, depending on your plan for the project’s usage, and on 2 layers of fabric. The back fabric frames the motif, and the blocks join to form the scallop pattern on the finished project.
