After working for 30 years in computers and software, Linda decided to leave Corporate America behind and pursue one of her many loves …quilting and sewing.
Working for a sewing and fabric shop in Pennsylvania, Linda was lucky to be one of the first to get in on embroidery machines and embroidery software when it first became available to the home market. Supporting and teaching Pfaff, Brother, Baby Lock, Bernina and yes Singer. Linda learned the ins and outs of sewing and embroidery machines. Starting with PC Designer by Pfaff (she won’t go into how many years ago that was) and moving into the first introduction of Bernina’s Artista software, this became her first love.
In 2001 Linda’s husband had a mid life crisis and moved them to California. Really….she was ready to retire! After sitting home for a few months, Linda realized that she had to get out in the world. She began working for Moore’s as a teacher and eventually headed up the fabric project and worked in sales.
After 9 years with Moore’s, Linda decided to retire to spend time with her new Granddaughter. She now is a part-time teacher for Masterworks, Designer Gallery Software and classes on computer and sewing machine connectivity for Moore’s.
