Meet Wendy Elliott at Moore's of Riverside

Since Wendy was a little girl, she's loved to make fashions for her Barbie's. That led to her very first fashion figure. "I was showcased in a Barbie magazine as a designer at 11 years old," she said. "After that, I was bitten by the Design bug." she continues.

At the age of 13, she had learned everything her mom could teach her about sewing and patterns. This drove Wendy to the point of deciding that in her senior year of high school she would apply to Brooks College. "Attending Brooks College was some of the best times I have ever had. I learned the ins and outs of design and structure, while realizing my own personal style. After graduating with high honors from John W. North High School, I was accepted to Brooks College where I started to pursue an education in fashion design and merchandising." she concluded.

In 2002 Wendy graduated with an AA in Fashion design and a miner in costume construction.

Wendy currently works at Moore’s in Riverside.
