We will be making a quilt using a Quilt in a Day pattern, “Basket Weave Quilt”. This is perfect for a beginner quilter! In our first session we’lll start at the beginning with rotary cutter safety/basics and then learn how to cut our fabrics and begin sewing our quilt top. In the second session you’ll layer your quilt top with the batting and backing, quilt it, and bind it. You can easily have this quilt done in the two sessions (maybe with a little homework in the two weeks between classes!). This pattern is fun and easy – you may get hooked and want to make another one on your own!
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of sewing and the use of your sewing machine.
