Learn A Block a Month – Carrie Nation, Temecula, 1 Session, $
Tuesday, November 17 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm| $15
Sewing Class Navigation
The focus of this class is to learn a new block each month! You will complete a block or several blocks which can be used in various projects such as potholders, pillows, table runners / toppings or a quilt. At the end of the year, you could make a sample quilt using all the blocks! These are all 12” classic blocks. We’ll start out with the easiest blocks and move to more complicated blocks each class. The tenth class is Carrie Nation. Carrie Nation was one of the more colorful members of the Women’s Temperance League. Between 1900 and 1910 she would lead bands of her followers into saloons shouting “smash ladies, smash”. This quilt block could be a smashed bottle in the center of all the falling glass pieces.
Prerequisite: Must have a basic knowledge of quilting
