Join us for our March 2023 meeting, where we will showcase creative and fun sewing tools from The Gypsy Quilter. The products selected for Sew Fun Club are all tools that will make your sewing tasks easier, and keep your sewing space clean and colorful.
Sew Fun Club gatherings are held on a different day at each location; our Mission Viejo and Huntington Beach stores offer a morning session from 10am to noon, and an evening session from 5pm to 7pm. Our Brea, Corona, and Temecula stores offer an afternoon session from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Sew Fun Club is free to attend, and we will be serving refreshments at all five locations – so sign up today!

Our Featured Partner: The Gypsy Quilter
In the spring of 2007, Lanette Edens founded The Gypsy Quilter Company as a cottage industry, just like many other small businesses in America. Lanette had an idea of developing a tool that could hold a ruler while cutting fabric with a rotary cutter to make the process safer, faster, and more enjoyable. After months of trial and error, The Gypsy Gripper, the first item in the line, was introduced in the fall of 2007. This was just the beginning, as Lanette continued to develop new and innovative tools for quilters and sewists wherever she saw a need.
To make the line stand out, it was decided that all of the products would be produced using a signature purple shade, which many customers have come to know as “The Purple Line”. Lanette was even nicknamed “The Gypsy Quilter” by her quilting peers because of her non-stop travel to promote her products at retail quilt shows. Since then, The Gypsy Quilter has been dedicated to developing creative and useful tools for quilters and sewists, helping them to be more productive and efficient in their work.
Sew Fun Club is In-Store and Virtual
Join us at each Moore’s location for an in-person Sew Fun Club as well as a virtual presentation. Both the in-person and virtual presentations are free to all. We host a show-and-tell session where attendees can inspire us all with the projects they’ve made, and have a chance to win a $20 Moore’s Gift Card – those watching the virtual presentation can also participate by posting photos of your projects in the comments! Sew Fun Club products are brought to you at exclusive club discount pricing that will be available only during the week of SFC and for a limited time after the virtual presentation. What is Sew Fun Club?
We here at Moore’s Sewing Center are committed to make you the very best sewer, quilter, and embroiderer you can be! So, for our Sew Fun Club (SFC) members, each month we collaborate with different creative, unique and inspiring companies, in order to keep you stitching. A Sew Fun Club gathering is held at each of our five Moore’s locations, and is chock full of samples, inspiration, and helpful tips and tools you can utilize for your upcoming projects.
The reason so many guests rave about Sew Fun Club is plain and simple: each seminar is filled with creativity, fun, and an overall sense of comradery and support among fellow sewers and crafters. SFC gives you an opportunity to meet and connect with people to share the same love for all things sewing!
