SFC Feature of the Month: Slightly Biased Quilts
Jenn, a quilt designer with a playful bias, is the owner and designer behind Slightly Biased Quilts. With a lifelong love of bright colors and a PhD in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics, she brings a unique blend of creativity and precision to her quilt designs.
Slightly Biased Quilts started as a bias tape Etsy shop, but her passion for quilting soon took center stage. Jenn has been quilting since 2009, and her focus is on creating beginner-friendly, scrap-busting quilt patterns that are quick and easy to assemble. While Jenn appreciates classic quilt blocks, she enjoys putting a modern spin on them with her fabric choices and color palettes. This playful approach lets her create quilts that feel fresh and unique.
Jenn is a published quilt designer, a quilt instructor, and a lecturer. She is also member of the DC Modern Quilt Guild and absolutely loves connecting with fellow quilters at shows and events.
Sew Fun Club is In-Store and Virtual
Join us at each Moore’s location for an in-person Sew Fun Club as well as a virtual presentation. Both the in-person and virtual presentations are free to all. We host a show-and-tell session where attendees can inspire us all with the projects they’ve made, and have a chance to win a $20 Moore’s Gift Card – those watching the virtual presentation can also participate by posting photos of your projects in the comments!
