The bell is ringing now for the start of the newest class from Anita’s University, I Can Quilt 201! We started Anita’s University with the first class, Embroidery Made Easy 101, which has been received with top‐of‐the‐class grades from students!
We’re proud to introduce and teach the next class in the series. During this class we will do a deep‐dive into each and every one of our quilting techniques. You’ll learn how Anita Goodesign saves you time, money, and fabric with our innovative in‐the‐hoop quilting technique!
Ever wonder how you can make heirloom quilts such as Double Wedding Ring & Mariner’s Compass with the ease and convenience of your hoop?
In this class you’ll learn just that! Want to learn how you can ace techniques such as Trapunto, Shadow Work, and Crazy Stitching quilting? You’re going to learn that too!
How does Anita Goodesign stitch the blocks together then back and bind the pieced quilt? You’ll receive an A+ because we’re going to cover that as well. With our easy quilting techniques, we’re going to teach you how you can create your own blocks! You get to choose your background.
Whether or not you’ve attended the Embroidery Made Easy 101 class, you’ll benefit from the different designs, education, and projects done in the I Can Quilt 201 class, the newest class offering from Anita’s University!

The new Anita’s University focuses on a broader range of educational topics than ever before. You will leave this 1-day encore class with ALL of the tools needed to tackle ANY embroidery or quilting project in your hoop. Learn how to do all of Anita’s techniques from different types of applique using materials like mylar, to interesting quilting techniques such as assembling beautiful tile scenes and trapunto in the hoop. See Anita’s new puffy foam designs and vintage embroidery like hand stitching and entredeux –there is something for everyone in class! You’ll get to stitch out projects in a hands-on team-sewing environment. At each machine, you will be able to choose which design to sew within a certain technique which means you’ll get to see many different stitch outs – peeking on your classmate’s work is encouraged at Anita’s University!
Anita’s University is going to give students more designs than ever before… of ANY industry event, not just past Anita Goodesign events.
