“I have fond memories of sitting next to my Mom while she taught me to sew on her old Singer machine. That is how my love of fabric and sewing took hold. I learned to sew garments and ballet costumes from her. Several years later in a fabric shop I saw a quilt with embroidered lighthouses on the wall. I bought the embroidery machine and made the lighthouses but had no idea how to turn them into a quilt! Many years went by before I was able to finally take my first quilting class and I was immediately hooked. I haven’t been able to stop myself from buying fabric and turning it into quilts ever since. The majority of the quilts I make are for charitable contributions to Children’s Hospital and several animal rescues and sanctuaries. I love to pass on the joys of quilting to anyone who wants to share this art. I reside in Murrieta with my husband Brian and our four cats Zoomer, Jinx, Paris and Clio.”
