This sewing event is for such a good cause!
It’s free, but please call Moore’s of Temecula to let us know you’ll be joining us! Join all these smiling faces to create even happier smiles for the children our wonderful customers sew for and generously donate! Here’s a message we received from Pamela, the President and Founder of Wishers & Dreamers – what an honor to be part of this!
Thank you to everyone that came out Saturday to volunteer. It was a productive and heartwarming day. It was so nice to meet our new volunteers and of course to see our continuing volunteers. We managed to accomplish a lot and we’re ready to deliver all the goodies to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH)
Our amazing volunteers completed the following:
*200 isolation kits and 200 gowns packaged
*42 gowns with matching chemo covers requested by LLUCH
*35 gowns sewed with all finishing touches
*2 wagon lap quilts
A Very Special Thank You to Moore’s Sewing Center for hosting our event in their beautiful facility and for their donation of chips and ice tea. The staff at Moores were amazing and very helpful. They kindly fixed a few of our sewing machine issues.
Thank you to all our generous donors that contributed fun items for the isolation kits. The kiddos are going to love all the entertainment the kits provide.
Thank you to all of the volunteers that brought fabric, completed gowns, quilts, monetary donations and food to share.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions
Moore’s takes the health and safety of our staff and guests very seriously. We will be taking the following precautions:
- Ample hand sanitizer will be available throughout the store.
- In keeping with current guidelines, masks are optional for those who are vaccinated, and required for all who are not vaccinated.
- Our staff will be taking temperatures of all attendees upon entry to ensure nobody is running a temperature higher than 100 degrees
