Sewing Class Navigation

Our upcoming Edge to Edge Quilting Class taught by Christine Conner of Amelie Scott Designs is an exciting hands-on event that will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about this vital quilting technique! Choose to enroll in just the Core class, or enroll in both the Core and Pro classes to learn every last detail!

Edge to Edge Quilting: Core Class

If you’ve ever wanted to quilt your own quilts with an edge-to-edge quilting design, this technique class is perfect for you!

Join Christine Conner to learn the core technique from her groundbreaking book, Edge-to-Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine, which gives you long-arm quilting results with your home embroidery machine! This technique helps you save time, save money, and get the satisfaction of making entire quilts all by yourself!

You will learn and practice the technique on a simple quilt sandwich, which you can later turn into a table topper. Once you’ve learned the technique, you can use the over 200 designs in the Amelie Scott Edge-to-Edge Quilting product line to quilt anything from table runners to twin size quilts.

Edge to Edge Quilting: Pro Class

Learn the techniques from our Edge-to-Edge PRO book, which allow you to resize quilting designs to fit in the body of a quilt, then stitch different quilting in the borders!

Students must have an understanding of the Edge-to-Edge quilting techniques from the book

Edge-to-Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine.

In this class, you will learn how to calculate the dimensions of the body quilting, resize the designs using the Embroidery Tool Shed software provided with the PRO book, and position and stitch both the body quilting and the border quilting. Designs will be stitched on a simple table topper that customers assemble before class, using instructions we will provide.

Student supplies: Completed table topper, quilting designs from the Edge-to-Edge PRO book. A document with supplies and steps to assemble the table runner will be provided. You will also bring your own machine to class.
