SFC Feature of the Month: Latifah Saafir Studios

Latifah Saafir, is known for her bold and innovative quilts. Combining her training as an engineer with her lifelong passion for sewing, Latifah creates designs that are graphic and contemporary, featuring challenging techniques with meticulous attention to detail. A co-founder of both the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild and the worldwide Modern Quilt Guild, Latifah currently teaches workshops to guilds around the world. She has a line of patterns and templates that she has designed to use her favorite techniques. She is excited to be designing her third line of fabrics to be released with Me + You, the modern fabric brand with Hoffman Fabrics. She’s been featured in over a dozen books and magazines and loves being an ambassador of Janome sewing machines.

Sew Fun Club is In-Store and Virtual

Join us at each Moore’s location for an in-person Sew Fun Club as well as a virtual presentation. Both the in-person and virtual presentations are free to all. We host a show-and-tell session where attendees can inspire us all with the projects they’ve made, and have a chance to win a $20 Moore’s Gift Card – those watching the virtual presentation can also participate by posting photos of your projects in the comments!
