Hideaway Deluxe Sewing Cabinet
A unique place to hide away your treasures
The Hideaway Deluxe Sewing cabinet is designed to maximize your sewing and storage space. A back leaf extension supported by two gate legs provides additional room for creating as you sew, and a folding footrest platform allows for easy access to the foot control. Four easy-glide drawers hold crafting notions, with a sliding thread shelf incorporated into the top drawer, making threads easy to access while sewing and a dust-free environment otherwise. Mounted on durable, non-scuffing locking casters, Hideaway Deluxe is easy to move. The German-engineered heavy-duty machine lift is multi-postional, enable sewists to easily switch between the flat-bed or free-arm positions, and effortlessly set their machine into the storage position when all is done.

Cabinet is extremely sturdy and well made and looks great. I’m impressed with how easy it is to move, which is necessary in my small room, and on carpet. The drawers are spacious and hold a lot of “stuff” and I like the quiet self-closing feature. Still waiting for the proper insert so sewing machine can be lowered, hoping that then the machine won’t vibrate as much at medium and higher sewing speeds. Considering switching out the drawer handles for ones that can be simply pulled, rather than the existing flat handles which have to be gripped tightly and then pulled.

Fantastic cabinet! This is my first cabinet and I love it! It is beautiful and functional as well as affordable. I looked at a lot of options and this one had everything I wanted: storage, custom insert, and aesthetics. It also comes assembled which I thought was a plus. However, please note that the deliverer would NOT move it into my home. We therefore had to disassemble the cabinet to get it up the stairs. Fortunately my husband is handy and it was not hard to put back together. I would have paid extra for “white glove” service if I had the option.

The hideaway deluxe cabinet from Sew Fine was fabulous. It exceeded our expectations. Sturdy construction. Ready build. Heavy packaging. Kept it safe during delivery. I purchased it for my 89 year old mother. She loves it. Good drawer space well thought out. The extra leaf in the back functions well. I would recommend this cabinet for any home sewer. She is able to use the air lift by her self. I was impressed.

This is the first sewing cabinet I have found that fits someone 5’2″ tall. The drop-down shelf can be left in place, effectively making the height of the cabinet 3 1/2″ lower. That’s not all: the sewing cabinet is very well-built and well-designed for sewists and quilters alike. I love that by ordering 2 acrylic fillers, I can use the cabinet for both of my sewing machines. I love that I can use my machines at 2 different levels and store one machine inside the cabinet, if I want to close it up fully. The drawers down the left side are very useful for all of my tools. I especially like the top drawer that has divided bins and a pull out with spindles for my thread. It handles large spools, too. There are locks on the wheels to keep the cabinet from moving. My machine is quiet and with no vibrations when I sew. For quilters, the drop down rear leaf makes this into the perfect quilting table. I can even turn my Juki sideways for quilting. I certainly appreciate the designer of this cabinet. It has met all of my needs beyond expectations! Note that the cabinet comes fully assembled and well-protected, but it is very heavy. Getting it safely out of the packaging is rather challenging. You’ll need one or two strong men to unpack it.

The cabinet is a tight fit in my small room, but provides the working surface I need. The pneumatic machine lift system allows me the flexibility to use my serger or my machine with little effort. The drawers are so convenient. So very pleased at the difference it has made in my free motion quilting and ruler work!
